A New Gun Invention for the elderly?

So, apparently there is a new device called the "Palm Pistol."  This new device is designed to give the elderly and the physically disabled a gun that is easier for them to use.  The idea is that older people do need protection as well as younger people and it is not fair to them if they are unable to operate a regular gun that most average age people are capable of using.  So, the inventors of the Palm Pistol came up with this device to solve the problem.  Take a look!

Oh, and don't forget to check out the hilarious grandma video at the bottom...I'm not exactly sure how this video is even relevant to the new gun invention but it is still worth taking a look at!

This is crazy! and a little sad at the same time.
It reminds me of some news I heard the other day about a guy being being held for trial because he recorded a music video in which he shows his grandmother holding a gun an swearing, and put it up on youtube.

The main thing I think about when I hear about a gun that is easier to use for older people is that it is probably easier to use for much younger people. So many people are killed accidentally by not knowing that a gun was loaded or not knowing how to use it, it seems like this would just make it easier for that to happen. I do believe in gun control and regulation which makes me more hesitant about such a product.

laurel, I understand where you are coming from. I think that if this type of product were to come out into the market, I think that elderly people would definitely need to be careful about where they keep this type of gun. It would be scary to think about little grandkids being able to get their hands on these guns. Hopefully, people will be smart enough to keep these guns in places where kids cannot reach or find. Thanks for looking at the video! I hope you found it as humorous as I did!
